To celebrate
the founding of our club, the Northeast Ursamen throws a big
bash every October to coincide with our Annual Meeting. Member
attendance is vital in order for us to meet quorum and to
hold a valid election of officers. Hey, your vote's not much
to ask for in exchange for a free dinner, right? Of all the
events on our calendars, this one belongs on every Ursaman's
calendar.
For 2009, our Annual Meeting weekend will
kickoff with a members-only Wine
& Cheese Social at Matt & Skeeter's home in Ashford
on Friday, October 9th. The
Annual Meeting and dinner will take place upstairs at
Partner's in New Haven on Saturday October 10th. Afterwards,
we'll be heading down into the bar for a party that's open
to the public: Butch
& Bruiser's Boots & Boxers Party! To cap off the
weekend, we will be having brunch
at York St. on Sunday morning. This is one weekend you
won't want to miss! Remember, this is your club and a chance
to help keep it moving forward!
