Al Drozdal-President

We welcome our new president, who is no stranger to our club. Al served as both a past President and as an Events Coordinator.  He brings a great wealth of experience, skill, and knowledge and is a seasoned leader. Al grew up in Massachusetts and lived in Connecticut for 20 years, Alabama for 8, and now in New York. His partners are Mitch Day and Harry Hall. Al's background is in engineering and program management. He grew up "blue color" picking tobacco, flipping burgers, and working in a shipyard. Al is your man for computers, electronics, home repair, bondage, leather and truckers. 


Al Cave-Vice President

Al is from Cranston, RI and has been a NEUMen member for 6 years. Al is an artist (you can see his watercolors at the Bear Market in P-Town) and a Community Association manager for a 112 unit condominium complex. Al plans to bring accountability to the our club by assuring a smooth transition between boards and transparency of all club actions to the members. Above all Al is working for regional inclusivity for everyone who desires to be part of the Northeast Ursamen. Welcome aboard Al Cave! 


Dave Rospo-Event Coordinator

Dave grew up in upstate NY and moved to Coventry CT 4yrs ago and been a Northeast Ursamen member for 5yrs in that time he has served 2yrs as member at large before being elected as events coordinator. Dave is a trained chef and is now working as a butcher to help round out his culinary field. Dave's goal as Events Coordinator is to create events (potlucks, movie nights, BBQ's, camping trips, field trips and etc.) that members will enjoy! Every event might not be for every member but I want to create and have enough events so there is something for everyone. If you have ANY ideas for events please contact him he do his very best to make it happen!

Richie Glasson-Treasurer

Richie is our senior board member, with this January starting his 10th year as the clubs Treasurer. Richie joined the club in 1996 when Al Drozdal was the clubs President and now looks forward to serving with him as our current President. He "fondly" remembers his first club event as being the luau at Al Drozdal's and its subsequent "initiation". In addition to handling the clubs finances, he also takes care of all the corporate filings and taxes for the club. A resident of North Haven, Connecticut he is currently single and enjoys canning and preserving and loves getting up at the crack of dawn and going to the farmers markets and flea markets. Richie holds degrees in floriculture and business administration/accounting and currently works for a state university in their purchasing department.


Trell Walters-Member at Large

Trell is a native of Claredon, Jamaica and brought here to the US at the age of 4, settling down in Hartford CT where he grew up.TrelI started working with kids at various camps and mentorship programs with the public school systems and also did some outreach work with inner city kids. He is a proud member of the Northeast Ursamen, the CT Crusiers, and the Imperial Sovereign Court of all Connecticut. Trell served as the 2nd Mr. Connecticut Bear, 2014.
